The THOR 40 Backpack – Military Backpack is designed to be worn with or without the existing body armour system on operations or during training. The THOR 40 Litre patrol pack uses a modern design with a single main compartment storage area and additional storage locations on the lid panel, in the side pockets and on the back panel for an A4 folder. Additional pouches may be attached by using the MOLLE system with webbing present on the sides and bottom. The design facilitates adopting all firing positions and carrying out kinematic actions.

Internally there is a single main equipment compartment. Access is through a top/front face zippered entry. MOLLE webbing is included inside to allow a radio to be secured. Multiple exit ports are provided for radio antennas, headset cables and hydration system hoses.

An adjustable and removable sternum strap is included. A rain cover is included within a pocket located on the base.

The THOR 40 Backpack is part of the Karrimor SF Nordic Range which is based on a project we worked on for the Danish Army.

Main fabric:KS500e

KS500e is a 500 Denier Nylon fabric coated with a waterproof elastomeric polyurethane (PU) coating for improved tear strength and flex resistance. Finished with a durable water repellent (DWR) which adds water resistance to the fabric. Camouflage models are manufactured from Infra-Red Reflective (IRR) fabric.
